I am wedge CRAZY people! Yes, they're nothing new, but I am constantly blindsided by how much better they keep getting! Of course no one does it better for the masses than Jeffrey Campbell..

 The wedge was a hot shoe to wear last F/W but don't count them out of your wardrobe for Spring.. They showed up all over the runway. We have yet to see all of the finished collections for F/W 2011 but I have a feeling we'll be holding on to these for a while..

Meanwhile, if you're looking for something on the cheaper side (who isn't) then stores like Forever21 are the way to go ladies.. they have always been great at doing a much more affordable ($20-$30) shoe that's relevant to what we see on the higher end..

Deena and Ozzy wedges.. originally $68,  got them for $15. Excited to say the least.. Will post pics and a review when they arrive on my doorstep!
In the meantime..enjoying the relaxing moment I'm having with my newborn sleeping on my chest. He's so considerate of me needing to get a blog post in real quick..I just love him.

Wedge Love

Wedges are insanely popular right now.
Everyone carries them from high-end to Target and Forever 21.
What I love about them is that they don't all look the same! Over the winter we saw the wedge boot-adorable. Now we're seeing the strappy wedge, wedge sandals, bondage fabric wedges-which are fast becoming my favorites.
But..I think my absolute favorites right now are the Farylrobin Madison Wedges available at Urban Outfitters. (shown below in middle) Available in black and white and hoping they will go on sale sometime soon!

Bensimon sneaks

I admit it: I’m getting a little tired of all the trembling talk about “investment pieces.” While I’m all for a justifiably (perhaps) expensive (definitely) item to have and to hold—and certainly for making smart, timeless purchases of lasting pieces—there’s something refreshing about a good old affordable buy. France’s Bensimon sneakers fit that bill nicely. Explicitly designed as “disposable footwear,” the low-top kicks were picked up by everyone from Princess Diana to Jane Birkin after they were introduced in Europe. A few colors have been available in the U.S., but this season marks the debut of the full 21-shade palette. That means there’s now one to go with just about anything. I wouldn’t go so far as to call them disposable, but at $58 a pair, you can go ahead and invest—i.e., buy two.
